Today's painting was inspired by a colorful bouquet of flowers and reminded me of how much fun ladies' days can be.

Mahjong and the Fishnet Bodysuit

A few days ago, I mentioned how much fun we had with friends in Texas. On Wednesday's we had a group of ladies that would get together at the club to play Mahjong. Rosalee was that friend that you never knew what could happen when she was in the house. She lived all over the world with her husband and had great stories that were hilarious and too risqué to share on my art page. Lol. She came rolling in one day and said we were playing for a prize that was gift wrapped.  To our surprise…the winner won a fish net bodysuit. Most of the ladies were retired so not exactly interested in fishnets.  Can you just see your lady friends having some laughs over the bodysuit. Word got out and the husbands were curious what we were playing for each week. Hmmm… we never asked Rosalee where the bodysuit came from or if the winner wore it HAHA.

Charcuterie boards are so popular and even better served in a cup. This is easy and great to have at a party in your home or to take to an office party.
 
Strawberries
Grapes both green and red seedless
Blueberries
Cheese slices (your favorite kind) 
Olives
Salami and or Pepperoni
Crackers or pretzels
Bamboo cocktail picks 
Plastic cocktail or martini cups
Rosemary sprigs for garnish (optional)
Skewer grapes and blueberries, slice strawberries, roll pepperoni/salami, olives in the bottom of the cup, slice cheese into triangles and arrange into cup.  Place on a tray or arrange on your table.
