Today’s painting was inspired by a flower garden outside my dentist’s office.  Yellow is such a happy uplifting color, one of my favorites.  It also signifies caution.
 
I have to share another ‘fast friend’ story about my construction friend Guido (name changed to protect the innocent).
 
Guido is a master carpenter and perfection is his gig.  I love that quality in a person when they take pride in their work, and you know the work they do will be done right.  I want to hire that guy.  How many times have construction projects turned to crap because of faulty workmanship?  Guido works for a company that continuously sees his perfection as problematic . . . that is a ‘no go’ for me.  I know…’Stay in Your Lane’ but it is one of my life purposes to help people believe in themselves and be empowered.  I had to reconstruct this situation with him, and giggle. . .is this boss for real?  Example: Hey Big Al let’s hire a construction guy to handle all our big projects but someone that isn’t a perfectionist and will cut corners.  Let’s just get er done.  That is what I heard, so, my purpose is to help empower Guido and show him to do it on his own.  His master carpentry brings such value to his projects. He will be appreciated and rewarded for his amazing talent.  Guess what . . . he went for it, and it is PERFECT for him.  He is sooo appreciated by his new clients.  HIGH FIVE GUIDO!
