Today’s painting was inspired by flower gardens in Texas.
 
We had the opportunity to visit TX this past May for a big Birthday bash for a great friend.  Of all the places we have lived in I have to say the best friends we made along the way are our Texas friends.  We had so many good times and it was great to visit.  The Falls in New Ulm, TX was Todd’s favorite golf course.   
 
I had a fabulous yard with flowers, ferns, and magnolia trees.  I loved starting my day on my deck enjoying the view of my flowers, until the deer visited.    Our patrol dog Bogey did a great job keeping them out most of the time.
