In Spearfish, SD spring began with irises.  My friend’s garden always bloomed first, and we’d walk the property before heading into her framing shop.  Surrounded by flowers and empty frames, we’d talk art, plan projects, and get excited for the season ahead.  That joy inspired today's painting.

A Favorite Find This Year
I decided to share one of my favorite discoveries of the year . . . Sweet Bee Organics Magnesium Butter.  I have NEVER been a natural sleeper.  I run on high energy, and my brain likes to plan the next painting at 2 a.m.  My sleep patterns have been pretty terrible for as long as I can remember.  This little jar has truly helped me. I’ve been using it at night, and it’s been a gentle way to relax, unwind, and actually get some good sleep.  If you’re looking for a thoughtful gift to pair with art this season, this is one of my personal favorites.
