‘Blushing Blooms’

8” x 8” matted and framed in a 12” x 12” frame

Today's flowers were near the Bosque in Bernalillo, NM. Miss Gracie and I met up with our friend Meg for a lovely morning walk. We love walking at Tamaya Resort. The grounds are beautiful, and we admired these beautiful flowers near the horse stables.  The leaves turned late this year and fall in New Mexico is always beautiful.

FYI – I had no idea what Bosque meant when I moved here.

A bosque or bosk is a type of gallery forest habitat found along the riparian flood plains of stream and riverbanks in the southwestern United States. It derives its name from the Spanish word for woodlands.  The most notable bosque is the 300-mile-long forest ecosystem along the valley of the middle Rio Grande in New Mexico that extends from Santa Fe, through Albuquerque and south to El Paso, Texas.
